I'm not sure what other people saw, but it seems to me you don't win a debate with lies....and Biden told some big ones, one of which should, really get your goat...he said he did not vote for the wars. Congressional records says he did indeed vote for the wars. First one he voted for was September 14th, 2001 authorizing the use of force...
Now we all can debate forever who won the debate, but I can't see any debate being won with outright lies, so therefore in my view, all based on substance, Biden lost real big, and lying about sending our troops to war pretty much the worst thing you can do. I expect a politician to lie about numbers and most all facts...but not on what you voted for, it's congressional record. So for those who say Biden won the debate, that can't really have anything to do with substance or ethics...your just saying he was a bull in a china shop and did that well, and if you think that wins debates, you need to stop watching them, your not listening to a damn thing, your looking at something else.
He actually started lying at the very beginning, when he said nobody at our embassies were asking for more security...after that the lies kept flowing, but lying about sending your troops to war unforgivable in my eyes, so anything else he said must have been a lie as well.
Biden lost in the eyes of anyone who listened to him, he may have won if you don't mind the lies and look at other things, but really nothing else matters, debates are worthless if the facts don't matter. But like everything else they have wrecked, now I guess they wrecked what a debate is too...what the hell...I guess anyone can win a debate now eh? No facts needed...and even some on here are going along with it.
The Vice president was representing us and the country and his party, in fact, I was embarrassed as hell. We all should be.
