National Anthem...WOW

I never thought I would forward our National Anthem being sung by a "hard-rock" group. This band sings a version that will knock your socks off ... a Navy vet sings the lead.

Not the way I would want our offical National Anthem played or sang but I have heard worse

It might be slightly too irreverant to be played in place of the standard rendering, but it would be great for theme music at a patriotic political rally--right along with Kid Rock's Born Free

   I can't imagine why the professional sports teams (for the most part) continue to call upon self-centered "celebrities" to sing the National Anthem..

I heard the lead Singer interviewed on local talk radio. He said the Star Spangled Banner is a song of defiance and that their version returns the defiance to it. I agree.

I checked out some other songs by them.
They have songs fron gun ownership through the OWS protesters.
They make ted Nugent look like a moderate.
