What will it be this time?
« on: October 13, 2012, 10:16:13 PM »
Ever since they discovered that a "crisis" is a great thing to use as a lynch pin to run a campaign on, the Dems have managed to conjure up an "October surprise"...and spring it in the very last days of October...too late to be effectively answered.  Often it takes a big, fat lie which is presented too late to be answered or countered by the accused candidate .
    http://personalliberty.com/2010/07/16/the-october-surprise/
...
Remember the false accusations concerning GW Bush having been convicted of drunk driving..just hours before election?  Jeb Bush was accused by Lawton Chiles of an outrageous act on election day eve.   Too late to be countered, it made no difference that it was false, the damage was already done and Chiles was re-elected.
They are so ingrained to dig up an "October surprise"  they go to great lengths to cultivate one..after all, wasn't it Rahm Emanuel who said "never let a good crisis go to waste"...(even if you have to make one up)...
So, what will be their "October surprise" this time around?

When you have three broadcast networks, two wire services and hundreds of websites playing on your team, anything is possible. My  guess would be something to do with LDS.

never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense”

I wouldn't be surprised if they dream up something to declare martial-law.

The greatest surprise and gift to mankind would be if Obama up and resigns, saying that the world wasn't ready for, nor deserving of his magnificent eminence and that he is ready to move on.

BOTH sides are capable of bodacious lies, why can't the GOP come up with a last second story to unleash on Obama and Biden?  Is it because they are above such a thing? :o I think we all know that is BS, ........................."SO" What's good for the Goose, is good for the Gander, Right? It's all immaterial anyway! Minds were made up on who to vote for long before the General election anyway. "IMMHO"

For Obama the best thing that could happen is the economy could improve alot . I won't hold my breath. On the other hand it could turn down and he declare some sort of speical action to gain more control,

The fact is that the Republicans don't have to make something up for an October surprise; the Dumycrats provide such a rich array of scandals and debacles--the problem is which one to center on.  There also is the problem of coverage.  The Republicans don't have the lame stream media to carry the ball on whatever they decide to whip up.
That said, I breathlessly await what the libs will try to invent for their final act of bombastic propaganda.

Right now they are trying to blame Romney for their screw-ups in Egypt, libya, Iran & Syria.  ;) ;D ;D

Republican/conservatives work at a disadvantage.  Conservatives won't tolerate a morally corrupt person holding high office.  Nixon went, Foley went, Craig went.etc, etc..

On the other hand thnere seems to be no moral degradation which liberals will not allow..Teddy Kennedy and Chris Dodd were "respected" dems..   Barney frank just retired and the chief icon of the Dems..committing adultry, pointing his finger at the people and lying to us about his under-the-desk activities in the oral..er...uh.. oval office.
Now that Old Slick is the "elder statesman" for the Democrats..and nearly worshipped by them...it tells us much about where they come from..

That's what athiests/agnostics do when they need a god...

Actually, the Obama regime is desperately working on a deal with Iran, where Iran would suspend uranium enrichment for certain changes in the economic sanctions against Iran.  The U.S. would be called on to persuade Israel to back down.  Watch for it.

He's considering jeopardizing some of our Special Ops troops in an effort to look like a a "warrior king"..but he never shouldered an M16 himself.   http://apnews.myway.com/article/20121016/DA1UGST00.html

Sending troops to "get the bad guys" now..would be like going to the woods after a cougar attack...and shooting a few squirrels..
Problem is, in that crazy part of the world ..even the squirrels shoot back!

During the debate Romney said as governor of Massachusetts he'd reviewed "binders full of women"

No doubt one of them will come forth with a steamy tale!  ;)
