Who makes them?  What do you use?

Dewey makes a good one. Tipton makes a cheaper one. I have one of each. I shortened the Tipton since it was steel and weldable. I use it on my pistol. These are thin and tend to bend easily. Midway sells the Tipton. I got the Dewey from a local shop. You'll also need jags, brushes & patches of appropriate size to clean a 17.

I have a bunch of Deweys, they're hard to beat.  I was told (didn't check) that they didn't have the .17 cal in a pistol rod yet....

But it appears they do....

I use a Patchworm to clean my .17 after range sessions.  It's small, handy and fits well in your range bag.  For more complete cleaning I'll use a rod but those are less often.

I use a Pro-Shot Products, one piece stainless steel.
