30-30 reduced loads?

I know this has been covered before but where can i get some data for reduced 30-30 loads using 110-125 grain bullets?

how far reduced are you looking for? Cast or jacketed? Big differnce in cast and jacketed and trying to make up 125 ammo to hunt deer with or 125 cast to just put holes in target paper.

Sorry should have been more specific, looking for loads for my 9 yr old to hunt deer with using jacketed bullets.

Go the Hodgdon website and under Data find the H4895 Reduced Rifle loads.

Hornady has some loads for 100 & 110 gr bullets. I would think the 110 loads would work well and be plesant to shoot.

I have used this data in 30-06 and 270 and it is wonderful. 


Although to light for hunting, I have loaded 30-30 with trail boss and before that with SR4759.  These can help the kids build confidence in there deer gun shooting abilities without developing a flinch.  I have done these with both 150 and 170 grain cast bullets (which also makes them cheap to shoot).
