Here's a little info. I use the 14 grains of ww680 with a .223 jacketed 45 grain bullet. This load in my 22 inch barrel has worked well for me.
(low was 2808 fps, high was 2865 on a ten shot string.) These were with a cci small rifle mag primer. I have loaded this higher,
but it went all over the paper, and I started to see some excess presure signs so i pulled back to where I got the best group.
I also use 11.1 grains of 4759 under a lyman 225415 cast bullet, but I have not checked the velocity on my alpha chronograph.
I am working a load using imr 4198 with a 40 grain jacketed bullet over 13.3 grains of this powder. It seems to shoot well, but the velocity is
not what I wanted as a 5 shot string averaged about 2400 fps.
This little round is still a work in progress, as I have had years of interuption with overseas deployments etc.
These shoot safely in my model 490 topper junior, but always start low and work your way up.
FrogFoot25Try some of these listed in this article. I will when time permits.
good luck.
