Lining up old trapping grounds
« on: October 18, 2012, 04:37:11 PM »
Spent most of the night lining up spots I trapped years ago. I did get in these spots to trap a few beaver this spring, but I was really surprised when every land owner gave me the go ahead to trap everything.
Only draw back will be the drought, I did hunt early geese on one of these spots, the water is way down.
At least I will get to trap a bit more this fall.
Good luck to everyone.Hope you have a safe , fun season.
 Tom

LOL Lee, good luck with the yotes. You are the only Wisconsin boy going to ND for yotes, the rest are headed there for rats. Are you at least taking some beaver traps with you?
One thing about yotes out there, they look a lot better than yours or mine.
On that cane and walker--using the wifes Hundai to get there, and I doubt I have room for either. But I will be trapping on my great aunts, and she will let me use her walker if need be. She turned 100 this spring, and hates having to use a walker.
But she still can cook, and has coffee for me whenever I stop in.
Stay safe and enjoy your trip.
