CVA Colorado??
« on: October 18, 2012, 05:55:39 PM »
I've got a guy contacted me online trying to sell a CVA Colorado. I'll admit I'm not really a CVA expert, but I've never heard or seen this model. He claims it's a sidelock, wood stocked and stainless. Says he cant send pics, but wants me to drive a ways and come see it. Anyone got any info on this?? Gas is too high to be chasing geese. maybe a setup.
could be he wants to bash
you in the head and take your
wallet.
one would think a legit rep would
send a brochure with info or a
very detailed e-mail.
pi&&-poor way to try to sell something :(

currently there's a cva "tuscarora whitetails unlimited" stock for sale on evil-bay. it's a nice lookin' laminated stock with recoil pad & black furniture & engraved whitetails unlimited logo. never heard of it before either so they probably had other "custom" models available from time to time.

my opinion & yer welcome to it, bubba.

I know a lot about the pre 90 CVA's, some about those after.  This model is in my data base, but not the years offered.   It had to be post 1989 to 2004 though when they discontinued all the sidelocks completely.   Camo stock along with a 50 1:32 stainless barrel (not a RB barrel) all points to the sabot crowd to me, same as most of the their in line models.   Doesn't appeal to me at all, but to each his own.   You'll have to keep us posted how it does for you.

I will send you a PM with some other info.
