For those of you that shoot the Max, midsouth has 180sspb blems on sale for 9.99 per 100.  There's also a max barrel on ebay...please outbid me so I don't end up with another project.

Thank You, just ordered a few 357 and .430 bullets. My 357's and 44's will be well fed for awhile.

Good Luck and Good Shooting

DH#1 - You sure that's the bullet diameter you need for your 50cal?  Usually I use a .45cal (.452 diameter) 240 grain bullet with a sabot in my 50cal. Not doubting you just wanted to make sure you read the description correctly.  It says:
           "44 cal .430 diameter 240 grain Hi-Performance HP 500 Ct."

The reason I' asking is that I almost made a similar mistake on the:
"6mm .243 diameter 80 grain Spire Point Pistol 100 Ct."

For some reason, the word "pistol" didn't register, all I saw was .243.  Guess it's that time of day.

OSR, I have some Hornady sabots 50 cal. I use in my Rem 700 ML and it says on the package 44 cal 180, 200, and 240 HP/XTPs 3 other bullets, all 44 cal. Maybe different sabots use different bullets.  Also says Hornady sabots come in four sizes and accommodate a wide variety of bullet calibers and weights.

bigvarmnt - Your absolutely correct.

I was just making a comment, about how I almost made a mistake with the .243cal bullets.  It's a real pain, and expensive shipping something back to the mail order houses, especially something heavy.  Just wanted him not to order the wrong item.  Been there done that! :-[
