First the completely unsubstantiated, though imaginative, story about a brave Marine on the roof painting targets with a laser while the other Marine, downstairs, is single-handedly holding off either a mob consisting of dozens of pissed off Islamists or an elite group of a dozen terrorists with rocket launchers. Don't get me wrong; I'm sure both men fought valiantly, and the loss of American lives was tragic. So why make up this story that seems to be sourced from a chain email and sounds vaguely like that joke involving Hussein's troops and the Marine on top of the sand dune? THERE ARE NO CREDIBLE SOURCES THAT THIS HAPPENED.

Then the right further hallucinates that the evil President Obama is sitting with a bunch of his Islamic cronies, drinking beer and eating popcorn with bacon, laughing at satellite footage of these Americans being killed that was beamed from a drone in the area. Now they're demanding this imaginary footage be produced, so they can procede with the impeachment before Obama fires any more Generals and Admirals for either not responding to the crisis or refusing to not respond to the crisis.

That gives me some hope.

I never heard of the fish storyt you just mentioned, but it sure is interesting that we can get videos of the White house "situation room" the morning after the SEALs took out Bin Laden..We got real time drone pictures of the various terrorist assassinations the morning after they took place...but nothing of the kind is available some 6 weeks after the Benghazi murders..

There is no doubt that many forces were available to rescue those Americans who were murdered, and nobody disputes that the entire attack took place over a 7-8 hour period.  There were all types of forces positioned in the Mediterranean which could have reached the action within the first 2 hour period.
   Now, if you claim there were not enough forces in the area, then this consulate having complained about lack of security and random attacks for weeks..and with that day being 9/11..Why were there not enough forces on alert?  Who was derelict in their duty?
