When I wore jeans, Lee made the best ones in terms of fit and comfort and looks. Levis were the most popular at the time, and I never liked them at all.

I prefer Cords, much softer on my hide somewhat harder to find in the Stores. Cargo's are next and for around the house, sweats.

  These days my jeans are not all blue..I probably buy more black than blue jeans..   Either way, they still come from Walmart.

First time in over 50 years I'm not in Levi's.....bought some Wrangler cowboy cut jeans and I'm a convert.

Around the house I'm often in a "Tennessee Tuxedo"....otherwise known as bib overalls....Liberty brand for me...

bibs  ;)  Carhartt here , they come treated with a fire protectant and being a pipefitter /plumber I have always worn them . After a few washing they lose the fire proofing but still feel good. BTW that's why you see construction workers wear them a long time before washing  ;D

Yep...I've got the insulated coveralls, that to my wife's dismay, I will not let her launder...yet.

It works , A few years back I was replacing a 700 ton cooling tower and while cutting it down some hot slag got between my carhartt vest and bibs. It was a very cold day and I was well insulated. The truck we were using had no heat so We started home with coats etc. still on. We are going down the interstate when I smell smoke and say something is on fire . The guy riding with me starts looking around and says you are on fire ! I stop and sure enough I have a small fire starting so I put it out. I would think if the cloth had not been treatred it may have flamed up instead of smolder.

Levi jeans in 501 or 505 models most my life. Now I prefer Levi 559 or 569's. My only alternative is Levi cor
duroys which I wear on occasion.
