Well I just spoke with Momma and our home and neighbors are all fine. Personally we only lost a couple limbs and power blipped a couple times.
Being support services, I spent the night here at work. It was crazy last night!! Had a blazer blown off road I to a ditch then shift linkage broke so we had to lift it with a big John Deer. Then posh it back to out garage. I personally saw two trees go down and herd or arrived at a dozen more just aft the fact. No one here hurt I was aware of. I herd of someone up state getting squished by a tree and a couple more not so smart ones overcome by carbon monoxide from a generator in home or garage.
Things died down dramatically about 10P. Squalls and gusts remained till early AM. I turned in at 3 AM and just completed a rounds again. No more trees down couple limbs and leaves everywhere! For us it was not bad at all thank God!
For all the folks on the shoreline it was another story. Storm surge has claimed thousands of homes. I herd there was/is 30' of water in NY subways!
Prayers to those who lost family and friends with storm Sandy. Signing out, back to work... Gotta roust up some of the other men who also spent the night!!
Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. We made it thru another one!
