Super Redhawk Hi-Viz sight recommendations?
« on: October 29, 2012, 10:18:12 AM »

I have a Super Redhawk 454 Casull 7-1/2" that I'd like to put some different sights on primarily for hunting... tried the Ruger V & gold dot/post that I shoot on my Redhawk 44 but can't get enough elevation with it. Too bad - love those sights.
Anyway, would like something more precise than factory-style square notch & post sights so I am looking at a 3 dot style hi-viz sight. Never tried 'em and don't have a bunch of money to burn experimenting, so... looking for suggestions.
Something like the Williams Firesight or a tritium style sight? Don't mind spending some money on a good sight, just not a bunch of 'em.
Appreciate any thoughts & experiences!

Green works better than red or orange for me.
