Anna, You need to differenciate between "conservatives" and "republicans". They are not the same thing.

One can be a republican without being conservative and one can be conservative without being republican.

However, my thoughts are that conservatives really have no desire to run the lives of their fellow men. It's a basic attribute of the conservative mindset. Unfortunately this also means that true conservatives not prone to running for office.

Republicans on the other hand........................

republicans and the constitution party are against abortion.
the democrat, libertarian, and green parties do not. they think murdering babies is okay.

Why then do the republicans keep funding it through planned parenthood? Perhaps they tell teenie weenie lies and no one notices.

But God then murders them all the time with spontaneous abortions.

I will agree that term applies often in the third trimester but early on to call it that is silly.
