50 Beowulf finally finished!!!

I finally rounded up all the parts to get this thing put together!!! I've got some fine tuning to do , but this thing is a bucket of giggles!  Making little rocks out of big rocks, splinters out of firewood...

Ive got a range in a sand pit my buddy owns. He let me set up a range there and its about a 1/4 mile from home. Went there the other day and he had a stack of cider blocks that were by where he collects junk till he gets a truckload to dispose of so i knew they were junk. First thing i did was beat but back home and get the beo. that thing just flat smacks rocks and blocks! Before i left there was around 200 emptys on the ground and not to many decent sized pieces of block left!!

I had to break it back down and open the ejection port up just a bit more at the front corners to keep the brass from hanging. Runs like a sewing machine now!  Sighted it in, getting 1 (big) hole groups at 50 yards so far.

try some of those plated renieer bullets. They are very accurate and believe it or not hold up real well on game. The flat nosed one acts like a hard cast bullet and the hp opens up real well and holds together well too. My gun likes the flat nose a bit better and will shoot it into an inch at a 100 yards for 5 shots. the hp opens up to about 1 1/4 which is still plenty accurate for ANYTHING a guy would use it for.
