Reality is if we have a war we will lose more rights etc. The police and military will pick a side and consider the other side criminals. If infastructure gets destoried it might be years if it is ever replaced. Govt. will in effect gain more power and rights may never be returned.
 War would not be good better to work with in the consitution .

   If such a conflict were to break out, I do not see it as along strictly "racial" llines.  I see it as more along the lines of the current culture war..i.e. left vs right.  There is much less real "racism" today than ever, most of it being 'ginned up' by those who benefit either politically or economically from it.
  We find people of all races on both sides of this vast cultural divide.  Some appreciate the great  republic our founding fathers envisioned, even though they knew it would have flaws to be worked out...others want to abandon that dream of 1776..throw the "baby out with the bathwater" and introduce systems that have failed the people everywhere they have been tried.
     There are a few who would not necessarily want to introduce socialism/communism with it's attendant abuses, but some entirely new, untried idea.  So should we throw out this greatly refined republic.. just to introduce an "experiment" ?
   No, if such a thing should break out, you can even now observe the two sides of the ..culture war... You can read them right here.!.

You guys are getting too weird.  This 'race war' thing may be in the dreams of some Hollywood media producer, but in actuality we all have lived together in relative peace for decades now.  Our big problem is not any kind of white/black thing, it is what the madmen in Washington are doing to our foreign policy, and that is where  Romney would be a disaster for everyone, whites, blacks, hispanics, asians, etc.  Whites being the majority of the nation are the biggest loser to a failed foreign policy that protects Iraq's borders better than what protects our own.  Likewise, it is not blacks that are supporting open border's immigration and free trade that is killing us.  Many of them are on our side when it comes to American interests.  Far more blacks put America first than Jews.  Jews care more about Israel than America.      'War' you say?  Yeah, we've had several of them outside of the USA. Look who brought them to us.

There is NOTHING in the constitution that says anything about separation of church and state.  It says congress shall make NO laws reguarding religion, freedom of speach, the press, and the right to assemble.  So we have FREEDOM of RELIGION, not FREEDOM FROM RELIGION.  John Adams said the constitution was written for a moral and religious people, anyone else and it might not work.  Congress has begun all it's sessions from day one with prayer.  The Supreme Court has the 10 commandments over it's doors, yet we can't display them in public buildings?  Also, the 10 comandments are in Judeism, Christianity, and Islam.  It should be a point for all to agree on and make laws from those.  The 10 commandments have two parts, one is our relationship to God, and the other to our fellow man.  Jesus said they are all summed up in two commandments, love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and might, and love your neighbor as yourself.  Seems pretty simple. 
 
The separtation of church and state ment that the state could not force us to accept one state supported church like European nations.  Brittan - the Church of England, France at the time, Spain, Portugal - the Catholic chruch, Greece - Greek Orthodox, Germany at the time - Lutheran. 
 
America was settled by Lutherans in Pennsylvania as well as Amish and Mendonites, Catholics settled in Maryland, Puritans in Mass., Baptists in Rhode Island, Episcopals in Virginia and New York.  Dutch Reform in New York also. 
 
The founding fathers saw this, and they were all from different faiths, so they put FREEDOM in the constitution.
 
Any war coming will be socialists/communists/athiests against capitalist/Christians.

I see more of a clanish type system. City, and inner city folks ganging up, and country people, that know enough to lay away provisions. You've seen a start of this, in flash mobs. Most of those were/are kids doing it for whatever they could get away with.(smokes.alcohol,style clothing) What you'll see is the same mentality, except they'll be doing it to stay alive. Food,water, and energy.(gas) Hunkering down can only help if you can stay invisible. Let the word get out that a house/ or series of homes has food/clothing, the pack animal mentality will prevail. Not a pleasant scenario, but one I think we will see in our time. Alot quicker, depending on who gets elected today. gypsyman

lots of good points to think about.  I thought about this more at work today and watched some of the people that come into the store.  if there is a war it's going to be a few people that will want to fight. Most people will not risk there live for any cause.

But, all is not lost.  You may have provided a good strategy - let the mobs know where there are people with food, water and gasoline, whether they actually have it or not won't matter.  This will be a good way to get rid of those you don't want around - sort of like placing a sign on a lawn that says 'there are no guns here'.  Make the targets the dem/libs who voted this guy back in and let the mobs burn them out and kill them in the gutters.  And, once they have done that and before they move on to the next, you will have all the targets you want. 
Use the lib dems for bait to establish a target rich environment - just like with hogs.  If you throw out the bait they come in like, well, hogs or mobs for free stuff and you can get them then.  Too easy but it works.....

What  I see is the government going bankrupt, not being able to pay social security, welfare, food stamps, and the military, except with highly inflated dollars.  Check out the Weimar republic in Germany from WWI until Hitler was elected.  They used inflated dollars to pay back war debt.  Caused them to go into a depression in 1924.  That in turn brought down the rest of Europe, which in turn brought down America by 1929.  Germany couldn't buy American or other European countries goods, they in turn couldn't make money so they couldn't buy American goods, thus our exports suffered, snowballing into a Depression world wide. 
 
Same will happen here, except we are the new Weimar Republic.  Once we start trying to pay back debt with inflated dollars, prices skyrocket, we buy less, China sells less, we crash, China crashes, then the whole world goes into depression.  Then communists and facists will take over countries, probably here too.  People here who prepped and have things will be at war with the urban gangs coming out to get stuff.

!honestly!  though relieved that obama would be out, I'd dread romney in charge too.  he may be a true moderate that is a flip-flopping liar just trying to stay electable, he may be a flip-flopping liar that really believes in nothing.  we KNOW that obama believes in a lot, and that it's not in america's best interest.

on the plus side, the republicans control the house, which is the money.  obama can't push much through financially if he's unable to fund it and/or convince the house to borrow more.  I worry what he's going to eyeball next once repealing obamacare is fought and over with... might take awhile though?

Lets look at the situation from a point of view a biologist might take. Every species of animal has population growth and die offs. Man, can be smarter, or dumber, than most animals. Most animals don't kill for pleasure/money/power, man does. Animals usually kill just for food. To survive. I know Ive heard that we, as a population, haven't reached that goal yet. But. just a couple bad years,(like we've just had), more people, less food, when do we reach that point? This govt. as is right now, is getting to a fiscal cliff, as they call it, when do the cut back start, and which ones. When they start printing money, and welfare dollars don't go as far, when food becomes more expensive because of energy costs/lower production, we will, at some point in time, hit that cliff. At present, 300 million people in this country, and how many can produce enough food to sustain themselves and family? Is there a war coming, yep. When?? gypsyman
