Mailman just left
« on: November 02, 2012, 12:04:18 PM »
My storearm and synthetic stock came for my Topper just now.  Waiting on my 24" 3 1/2" barrel to arrive from a member here and the "Swamp Donkey" will be complete.  Boy this thing sure is light, gonna be tough with a 3 1/2" turkey load

Looks good and yes the polymer stocks are light.  What gauge is it?

its a 12 with a 28" barrel at the moment, but i bought a 24" 3.5" mag barrel from a member on here.  Its gonna be fun bustin a turkey with it.  Gonna take it for opening duck season and leave the benelli at home.  Have a simplistic hunt.  Going to the swamp tommorow, maybe i'll get avideo of something dieing from a single shot inlicted wound.

I love the stock set up I have a tamer 20 set up like it .  Just a word of warning  I am 6 ft 300 pounds  I can shoot a H&R 10 ga all day long with out a problem  I have fired exactly  one  3 1/2" turkey load out of a synthetic stock 12 ga H&R  single shot . I decided I didn't need a turkey that bad  :o  It was as bad as firing both barrels at the same time on a 10 double  Yes I did that once too...............  recoil Over Dose
