Will pick up my new barrel in March and was wondering if anyone has shot turkey size shot in this barrel.  Have any of you used steel shot in the barrel and how did it perform.  Any barrel issues?

Hoping to be turkey hunting in April in Oklahoma with the new Encore 12 guage.

I ASKED MATT MORRETT ABOUT TURKEY LOADS FOR THIS GUN HE SAID THAT HE WAS USING 110 GRAINS OF PYRODEX WITH 1 5/8 OZ. OF #5 LEAD SHOT IN A KNIGHT SHOTCUP WITH A FELT OVERWAD AND GOT GOOD RESULTS FROM THIS.

Hey I see Big Matt and myself is shooting the same load But with one little difference Im useing no.6 Shot And 120GRAINS of Pyrodex     Great minds think a like SHOOT THAT TURKEY'S HEAD OFF!  :lol:
