Childish, hysterical panicky temper tantrum
The man is hurting and THIS is what you offer? Sorriest example of the golden rule I've ever heard.
He's one of the reasons Obama won.
I see what Willy is saying. But what he needs, and many others on the losing side need, is a little self-examination.
It's not obama. obama is a P.O.S.
That kind of nasty, uncharitable expression – that feels so satisfying, and fits in well here? – that isn’t what I’m talking about.
It's the majority of Americans that WANT obama.
Maybe. Two days after the election, here’s what I think: Obama seemed more credible than Romney, to more people. And, he seemed a
lot more attractive than his detractors. And
those folks – we’ve got them here! – what did they display in response to Obama? Here is what that winning majority saw:
Angry at gays, angry at abortion, willing to bend others to
their religious preferences, and
utterly contemptuous of folks that aren’t like them. A nasty streak of racism. A hostility towards Latin American immigrants that was particularly nasty, and
alienated a lot of folks who might have voted for a conservative candidate.
Thanks a lot, fellas...
Consider whether you'd rather be angry and pout about the way
it ought to be, or whether you'd like to win, and what will be required to do this. And... perhaps reconsider some positions and attitudes.
