3 year old pees in yard mom fined $2,000!    Here's what I'd like to say to the police officer who fined a mom $2,500 for letting her 3-year-old son pee -- IN HIS OWN FRONT YARD: Are you out of your freaking mind?? Oh, forgive me, how rude: Are you out of your freaking mind, sir?!
In my opinion, any uniformed official who thinks a 3-year-old boy taking a wee in his own front yard because he's still potty training and knows he won't make it inside but doesn't want to get his pull-up wet since he's a big boy now, for pete's sake, constitutes an act of "public urination" punishable by a $2,500 ticket is insane. That's my opinion not only as a mom who's been through the potty-training process twice, but as a human being who's occasionally capable of rational thought. IN HIS OWN FRONT YARD. Look, even if poor little Dillan had an accident in the middle of a busy sidewalk, it would be ridiculous to give his mom a $2,500 ticket ...
Hell, even if little Dillan had an accident right on that police officer's shoes! But in his own front yard, to keep his pull-up dry.
Does it alarm anyone else that an individual with so little common sense is carrying a badge?!
Dillan's mom, Ashley Warden, and grandmother, Jennifer Warden, were understandably flabbergasted -- even more so after the police department refused to accept their complaint.
"Dillan pulled down his pants to pee outside ... and the cop pulled up and asked for my license and told me he was going to give me a ticket for public urination," said Ashley.
"I said really, he is 3 years old, and he said it doesn't matter," said Jennifer. "[He said] It is public urination. I said we are on our property and he said it's in public view."
All Ashley can do now is show up for her court appearance and hope that the judge turns out to NOT be a zombie/robot/moron and throws the ticket out. Because if I were her and I ended up having to pay that fine? God help me, I'd probably end up in jail attempting to get my money's worth out of that public offense charge, and that idiot police officer's shoes would never be the same.

Let's see... Last week it was ruled that a he/she, sexual freak is allowed to shower with 6 year old girls at school.    This week its a major criminal act for a 3 year old boy to pee in his own front yard.

Gosh, how stupid the cops get.  I do that all the time, course I got five acres and no one knows but me.  And you.
 
Story time:  When my father was growing up, they lived out in the country.  As a small child when he or his smaller brother needed to go pee they just went outside and peed off the end of the porch, into the cinders and gravel of the driveway.
 
When my Maternal Grandfather built his house, back in the early 50s.  There was a pile of pea (Called that because it was the size of a pea) gravel left at the upper end of the concreat porch.  My Grandfather just smoothed it out and left it there.  My father and my Grandfather would pee there, as would us boys as we grew up.  So my Dad has always peed off the end of the porch when at home in the country.
 
Mom and Dad moved into the city, Dad stopped peeing off the porch, since they now live in a subdivision with houses all around and a main street in front of the house.  60 years later, Dad now has Altzheimers, he reverts back to his childhood days.  Mom gets a phone call from the woman across the street, telling her Dad is outside peeing off the end of the porch.  Mom investigates, and sure enough there is Dad, standing there smoking his pipe and spraying the shrubs.  Dad can't understand what the fuss is about, all he was doing was the same thing he had done all his life.  At least all that he can remember of it.  One more straw added to the camel's back.  Today Dad is living in a nursing home.  When he is outside in the court yard area, Dad and many of the old men his age all water the shrubs at the end of the sidewalk.  Old habits are hard to break.
 
I talked to the Psychologist that works there  last year when I was visiting.  We were talking when she noticed several old men standing at the end of the sidewalk.  She made the statement "There they go again, they are going to kill the grass".  "Can't get them to stop".  I laughed and told her about the reason my Dad did that.  She looked at me and said now she understands why many of the old men do that.  They were all men that were raised in the areas outside of Nashville.  Old Farmers from the country.  I suggested she have the area planted with shrubs screening what was going on, and put a pile of pea gravel down.  She gave me a funny look, not sure if she thought it was a good idea, or that she thought I should be commited.  I left.

I don't know how it is over there, but in some places, one no longer has that option. Many courts have their own in house collection agency that will report you to the credit bureau and will continue to hound you in the form of license suspension, including all state certifications.
