I'm a fool for really cool flashlights. Last year I got interested in the Cree LED flashlights on Ebay. They're in-expensive and can come in some very high lumen models. Most of the higher lumen models have an adjustable focus that will go from flood to spot. I started out with some 400 lumen models and then bought several more in 800, 1200 and finally in 1600 lumen. The lower lumen models can run on 3 AAA batteries that snap into a holder or they can use a rechargeable 18650 battery. The 1600 lumen model I bought recently uses 2 18650 batteries, will turn night into day and comes with a very nice nylon holster. Also has a pocket clip on it. The 18650 batteries come in different MAH capabilities from 1200 to 4500. I liked the 1600 lumen model I bought recently so much that I just ordered 5 more with a charger and 18650 batteries for each as Christmas gifts for my friends, grandson and son in law. The whole package for each including shipping was just a little over $21.00. I know the Streamlights and Pelicans are good but just too expensive for me.
