   Yep..except i would probably have to use "escape and evasion" tactics to get out of this "blue state" in order to serve the new-formed South.  On second thought, perhaps I could stay put ..and be clandestine operator for the nation called.. NOVUS LIBERTAS,  the Latin  name for a nation holding for ...  "New Freedom"

I don't know if you have read Matthew Bracken's "Enemies" Trilogy, but it parallels this very closely. Since he began the series in 2003  and could not possibly have known any of the events that actually followed when he created the characters and situations, it is actually spooky . They are the only books I think I have read that were written by someone really part of the gun culture and into the technical aspects of weaponry. I think they were recommended to me by someone else here at GB, but I have not heard them mentioned lately. They are entertaining and make you think, worth reading.

RANGER. I read several books in that series years ago, wish I could read them again.
General Raines was a tough feller. Prisoners were interviewed, if he felt they had any redeeming qualities they were re trained, if not they were executed. Most of what they did would actually be necessary for survival. POWDERMAN.

When you look at a map of the United States with the red and blue representing the sentiments of the folks, it is primarily a red country with nasty little blue blotches here and there.  These blue scars on our country are mostly densely poopulated areas.  If we're going to divide and conquer, then let it be the blue problem areas that are eradicated--once and for all.

This was a discussion Sara Palin brought up during her term as Governor.  With Alaska being geographically separated we feel we have the best chance.  We already have economic ties to Korea, Japan, China, Russia, and South America.  We are also very close with Canada.

Started reading "Enemies Foreign And Domestic", need to go back and finish it.  One of our local Talk Show Host has Mathew Bracken as a guest speaker at least once a month.

I guess you'd be willing to live with the fact that 45-50% of the people who live in the blue areas are conservative and would also be "eradicated" as you say. If you think it was hard for our troops to identify the "enemy" in Vietnam, or to identify the Al Quieda or taliban  in the Mid-east, think how hard its gonna be for you all to identify the vermin liberals and democrats up and down the streets in America...You nut-jobs also have the mistaken idea that Democrats are un-armed....I am not unarmed and never have been. The moderators deleted a post of mine last week that was nothing compared to the insane violent babble of some others on here...

I think if the states want to secede , they should be allowed to. But I don't think that any of the states that are talking it would be prepared right away for "the details". As in being able to replace the Social Security checks the elderly are receiving, the post office, all Federal buildings and employees,all Federal highways,  disaster relief agencies, etc
