Carrier less 209 conversion plug for the Huntsman
« on: November 12, 2012, 04:20:16 AM »
I searched the web for an after market conversion doing away with the orange carriers that I'm always losing. Only thing I found was on here sometime back. I guess from reading that there are two sizes of 209 plugs for the huntsman and mine is the older one and probably the larger size 7/8" I'm thinking.    No recent activity on it. Did it flop or is it available????   Mine did it's job for the season  now time for an upgrade it they are out there reasonable.

Get back with the manufacture he will make it write, also try different primes, don't use win. w209 shotgun , use win. tripple7 209 for muzzleloaders rifle, i had the same problem. You may also need to polish the tapper bore of the holder.

Deerhog,
Bought one of those plugs last year and I'm very happy with the product as well as with the service from the manufacturer.
By some obscure reason, and I have searched for it to no avail, the manufacturer was excommunicated by the sages here in the board so any reference to his/her name gets the post immediately deleted.

It truly is a shame that the posts get deleted. Those guys are good people! They simply offered a solution to a obvious problem.

Some things are better left to wonder.  As with all discrepancies, it has two sides.  Not fair to only tell one side.

Bottom line is the maker and Bill did not see eye to eye and this being Bill's site the maker went. Leave the discussion to die. So that the forum doesn't... nuff said. Thanks Kurt

I called this company last week and they are selling 16 + a week for sidekick to this date. Seems there is a misunderstanding at some point
