  In 2005, Israel in good faith..did as many of the world's leading powers insisted; they handed over the gaza strip to the Pa;lestinian people who immediately turned it over to the terrorist group..Hamas..
   THe deal brokered by these powers, was the old, shopworn idea of "land for peace".  To be sure, Israel was distrustful of the entire idea, and even as they handed the land over, they warned these same powers that even after the land was handed over...there would be no peace..
  Now we find out for the umpteenth time...some folks "word of honor "...' is just trash!

  So world pay attention..they got their land...so where is the peace?  Rockets have been raining down on Israel for a week now.  350 on Thursday alone..
 
  So...tell me that didn't take long range planning and logistics..  Tell me the Israelis have no reason to inspect ships sailing from terrorist states to Gaza..
 
  NOTE:  In the article, notice how the guys Obama paved the way for in Egypt,..are working hand in hand ...with the Hamas terrorists...
   Sounds too much like Carter, clearing the path for terrorists to take over Iran some 30 odd years ago.

Pray for Israel, we sure aren't going to help with Obama in office.  Isreal does have nukes.  If they feel threatened enough, they will use them.  Obama has asked Turkey to help figure something out.  Turkey probably don't want to get involved.  However Turkey once held Syria and Iraq for over 400 years.  They allowed local autonomy and kept the peace.  Turks are Muslim, but not Arabic or Persian.  They are more moderate and have the 17th largest economy in the world.  They just might try to take some of their old empire back.

   Hard to believe , but not too ;long ago Lebanon was a very civilized country, a banking center, stylish shops etc..
  Right now rockets are close to hitting both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem..medium doesn't tell us if the problem is range or accuracy. 
   ..But if they happen to blow away that "Dome on the Rock", it might just pave the way for the 3rd temple.
 
      Meanwhile; Tracklaying equipment soon to be seen in the fields and highways of Gaza.along with one of the crews which will operate one of them...
  When I was a young tanker...I could only dream of a crew that looked like that.  My crew was ugly in comparison..and my presence didn't help any.. .

The israelis only gave back Gaza for a few reasons: 1) it would have been hell to pay to hold it, 2) they need a place to deposit Palestinian refugees from apartheid. 3) international pressure forced them to relinquish official control_ _but make no mistake they control totally what goes on in the open air prison called Gaza.

 Now they want Gaza back entirely, because huge natural gas resources have been found there for one thing and it would be prime beach front real estate for another; just like they wanted parts of Lebanon to gain the Litani River but they were repelled militarily.

World opinion seems to have wisened up and currently israel is loosing popularity on such occupation issues; even in the USA despite constant propamedia bias towards israeli colonialism.

   Yes, Israel gave the land back under foreign pressure..but of course, the deal was "LAND FOR PEACE"!  The barbarians have their land..and just as the OP asked...WHERE"S THE PEACE"?

  Sure, Gaza does have fine, beach front real eastate...It had that real estate before the transfer to the barbarians.. That's nothing new..  So why did the barbarians not develop that fine real estate, instead of being terrible, murderous neighbors?  Why did they not continue the cultivation of the land as thoroughly as the Jews did?  Why do we hear of no scientific, industrial or medical development emerging from the gaza strip?  It sees that the only thing which emerges from Gaza is.. rockets, stupicide bombers and hate..
