Berrys bullets ?
« on: November 16, 2012, 09:30:25 AM »
Anybody ever shoot berrys bullets in 115gr 9mm. Just picked up  a 9mm and was looking at bullet options and these seemed to be the cheapest. But don't know anything about them. Thanks, Dan

Did you look here?  I've only tried the .357 bullets.  Works good for me.

I've shot probably over 10,000 Berrys like you described. I use either a near max load of 5.0grs 231 at 1.150 OAL or 6.0 grs Unique under them. Shoots as good as any jacketed bullets out there. Groups are under 1" at 25 yds from bags.- Baby Eagle, SIG, Hi Power, Beretta, all seem to like them. As long as the velocity is around 1200'ps or less they are a great plinker or if you need a finishing shot on a coyote.

Thanks for the replys. They are the exact answers I was looking for  a good place to buy bullets and a good way to use up some 3# of 231.
 Thanks again Dan
