I just heard that Egypt has told Israel to stop attacking the Palestinians attacking them.

I wonder, how President Obama will blame this on Bush if they go to war?

I personally think it's time that Israel stand their ground and send an emphatic statement along the lines of having zero tolerance for any attacks on their people.  It is absurd to think that anyone would believe it's okay to kill innocent people without any retribution on those conducting the assault.

I hope Israel finishes the  job this time. The phillistines fired over 100 rockets just today, almost 500 this week alone. They attacked Tel Aviv yesterday and still are, today they attacked Gods Holy city Jerusalem. Our neice Barbaras husband is stationed there with the US Army. They were put in a bomb shelter last night under the US embassy. She fears for her life, so do I. I hope Israel finishes the job this time and cleanses her land of these sons and daughters of satan who have desecrated it far too long. POWDERMAN.

since the current prez favors islam, I'm scared that all the muslim nations will jump on'em.

This is really sad, Egypt has a large majority of Christians as her citizens also.  A country of such an
ancient heritage and intelligence has been cross bred over time to not be any better than the rest of
the Middle East. Egyptians once were a very pure race, even the Greeks and the Romans wrote about
how beautiful they were. Even God looked favorably upon them at one time.

Ok flame on, I am half Egyptian. My mother was a full blooded Egyptian Christian, that my father still
morns over all these years later. What little family we still have over there are totally sympathetic to
Israel. Myself and my bothers are the real McCoy, this is how we looked 2000 years ago.
That fact sure didn't deter Julius Caesar or Mark Anthony, who gave up everything they had to one
of our ancestors. Modern Egypt has aways worried about its own Civil War between the Arab      extremist and what was once called the pure breeds.                                                                     

Who could form up a sizable force in the rear if any such aggression was ever directed towards
Israel. Who by the way calls that the reverse Exodus, where persecuted Egyptian Christians would be
offered sanctuary in Israel. So I am just a little biased when it comes to this, even though I was born in W.Virginia. My grandmother still lives there, so yes I am a military rug rat anchor baby.

So now you can see why I have the feelings that I do about Hussein.And what he is doing to this country that we have seen done before. It's the same old MOS each time, and it always ends in war and poverty. Nothing good ever comes out of it. Christian persecution and the destruction of Israel.
So we should be very careful here, look what happened to Egypt once before in the Old Testament.
And she was a super power back then who lost 70% of her standing army virtually overnight.
She never recovered from that, if you don't see that go read about it.You shouldn't have any problem
finding a black book that will tell you all about it.

Yea tell that to the Christians being attacked by the Muslims in Egypt but then if they go to war and Israel turns Egypt into a smoking hole in the desert, Obama will take credit for the side will make him look best and blame anything the other side did on Bush.

No flame intended HC, I only thought I had seen that guy before in a lot of those old westerns that Clint Eastwod stared in. I'm a trivia nut and i like to try and remember a face when I see one .
I can't remember his name though, but I think it was in the movie for a few dollars more where I saw  that guy. Correct me if I'm wrong but I was just wondering, he was actually a pretty good actor for his time.

That's ok PM, but I do know a lot about Egypt and what I'm betting is going on over there right now.
Christians there congregate in areas along the coast and around the Nile Delta. They never really had
a lot of problems with anyone until recently.But outsiders need to remember,blood ancestry runs very
deep around that area and that always trumped any religious affiliations.Egypt is a very civilized country at its core values,she always has been. You can't get a real picture of her people by what you see on the news, those are only the ones causeing trouble so they get the headlines.

It's the same thing here, you can't judge middle America by what you hear in the media. The Mulims i knew were very God fearing people, and everyone used to get along just fine. Even when the USSR was around,Russia did not tolerate one of her more civilized allies in that region getting to out of line over religion.A revolution was the last thing they wanted to happen there.
Pure blood Egyptians do remember their past, and they used to teach in thier schools what happened
to them with Moses. They accredited that and paganism directly to thier downfall, that and Roman
tyrrany of which they no longer had any defense against anymore than Israel did back then. 

In other words, they remember all to well what happens when you mess with the Jews just a little to much.Over the last 3000 years there hasn't been a collective civilization that has directly experienced
the wrath of God like Egypt has.Name one, you can't not on that scale anyway, and you can bet your
bottom dollar they sure remember it. So guys, do not think that Egypt is all gungho about lining up
to get another bloody nose from Israel. No matter what her government says, she also didn't fair to
well during the six day war. And from what I hear they would prefer to sit this one out.
