These bullets are cast from WW lead that is water dropped and then they are lubed. The harder bullet & lube takes care of the leading issue with these slugs. Also the shear weight of the slug and the pressure limits of a 12ga barrel will keep you from pushing them fast enough to lead up your barrel. The leading issue with foster slugs in a rifled barrel is due to the very soft lead used in the fosters so they can bump up on a smoothbore and also to allow them to pass through a choke w/o incident.
