Now I have to buy a Crossbow

Just found out that in my home State of Ks. it is now OK to hunt turkey and Deer during bow season with a Crossbow, IF.....
you have reached the age of 55 or are under 17.
I really suck at using a compound bow so now I can hunt in early season, but must find a crossbow.

Being disabled I have to hunt with a crossbow. I know folks use them on turkey but my luck doing so has not been good. The arrow blasts through a turkey so fast you can't see the hit and they usualy fly off to die elsewhere.

Have you tried different broadheads?  Do some work better than others?
