Here's a foodie post you won't find anywhere else:
After roasting peking duck one day, I had the duck fat rendered from the bird. This duck fat is considered a precious flavoring by many foodies, and they use it in place of butter or as the fat for confits. I prefer butter and don't like confits, so I gave the fat to my beagle.
He sure ate it all up, but then he puked it all over his kennel, and the next morning the floor of his kennel was streaked by all of the fat etc he had thrown up. It was a real mess. The only other thing that I can recall which made him puke like that was some carrion he ate then puked up right on our new carpet. The maggots were still writhing that time.
