Too sweet!
We have one available locally at about $650 (darn it, too rich for me but I wonder where my price point should even be these days?) and have havent read anyone with one being disappointed.
IIRC is is  the New Model Vaquero frame, S-BH hammer, specially shaped grip panels (beyond being a birdshead) and short headed cyl. pin., and the 'warning' on the underside of the barrel.
Now why doesnt Ruger make one of these in the Sgl. Six series, blue or stainless, adj. sighted or plain? Bet they would sell a ton.

Right now $650 is a bargin price I have seen them selling here for $800. when you can find one

Even though this is a year old thread, with the loss of 800 posts recently, perhaps a few will see and read it, and enjoy the discussion and photos.
I've been a big fan of .45 ACP revolvers for years, and have found the single action Ruger and FA versions to be super accurate in that chambering. My oldest version is a '76 "Liberty Model" convertible with some upgrades added over 20 years ago:

The latest is a Talo .45 ACP only, that I bought about a year ago. It required only filing .023" off the front sight to perfectly zero it with my 3 .45 ACP loads:

Another real favorite is this Flat Top convertible. It gets shot as an ACP probably at least 25 to 1 over the .45 Colt cylinder usage:

And too, remember Freedom Arms makes a great Mdl. 97 .45 Convertible. Almost unbelievably, this one prints my 2 .45 Colt and 3 .45 ACP loads into the same group at 25 yds. Like I said, I'm a big fan of .45 ACP single actions:

I've owned a S&W 25-2 and 3 625's over the years too, and while they were great for bowling pin competitions and such, their accuracy at longer ranges didn't begin to compare to these 4 single actions.

I bought the knife from a custom maker named Manley in 1997.

I shoot .452 cast bullets in both cylinders of all the above guns.
