If you look here on GBO a little further down in the reloading section Veral Smith has a forum where he answers questions about cast bullets. Some time back Veral started a thread where he told about cut shells. They are a great thing to know about... just in case.

a box of bird shot is cheap compared to slugs.   I have plenty of slugs, but if I didn't, I'd make some of those for my house gun.

Believe it or not, it's a sleuth (or sloth) of bears. Whoever picked that name doesn't get out much.

I'd love to try this, but it sounds ridiculously stupid, and a great way to ruin your gun and/or become eligible for a Darwin Award. But that's coming from a guy who's never tried it.

Switch to #6 shot if you happen upon a murder of crows.
Just make sure they are really crows and not a wake of buzzards.

It's no different than a sabot, plastic and lead.  it won't hurt your shotgun, just don't load up the magazine with'em, they might bend and not load right.  but a clip magazine might work.

I probably stand corrected, being as it was just a guess..    Somehow congress should be like a group of wise owls; but in retrospect, baboons probably fits better.. ;) ;D
