« on: November 24, 2012, 06:18:13 AM »
Got this guy Friday afternoon. Went out looking to take a doe for the freezer, but had 3 bucks come by instead. Racked bucks are VERY RARE on this property, so I was happy to take him. 1st of the year and only my 2nd 8pt ever. 180 yd Bang Flop.

Nice! And that is a LONG shot, at least by my standards.

ain't it grand?
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Thanks guys. I've killed 1 further than this one. As a matter of fact, it was from the same box blind and across the same field. That one measured (laser range finder) 334 yds. Our place is 126 acres of almost all bean fields. We have to catch the deer coming off of neighboring proprieties and crossing our fields or running the creek/river bottom.
