What's a good skunk lure and bait?

skunk spray.  If I caught one, I had to move my trap or I would catch another one.  I'm guessing you could pick up a road killed skunk for bait.

 Most tainted bwits will work on skunks.Most gland lures will also draw in skunks.
 Most times,its trying to find something that does not draw skunks.

skunks are opportunists and will munch just about anything especially when your trying to trap something else other than skunks.  About the only time skunks are particular is when they are hunting grubs in lawns.  You can put  alot of things out there to attract them but if  your trying to trap them  when they are ripping up turf, if you dont have grubs or the scent of grubs in your box traps or what ever traps you are using you  come up with zero.   Sometimes  forcing the skunks with barriers leading into box traps works but not all the time.. I sure hope it was fake maple syrup like Mrs Butterworths instead of the real stuff, especially after last years bust on maple syrup  harvesting...
