OK, let's see your Okie deer!
« on: November 28, 2012, 05:07:57 PM »
I'll start out, here is a buck I harvested on November 23 this year. I was using a Remington Model 14 in 30 Remington with 170 grain Core-Lokts. 5 year old deer, 14 scoreable points. Gross score was 155 7/8 BC.

Here is mine, nothing too fancy but the best buck I have ever taken or will likely take again.

It was shot the 18th in Stephens county about 7:45 AM.  I used my 700 ADL in 30-06 with 165 grain accutips.  I am going out in the morning to look for his girlfriend.   ;D

Not bad a bad year. I wish I had held out on the muzzle loader buck but was proud anyway.
Deer hunting is mostly fun then you shoot one and it turns to work.

My son arrowed his one on Dec 20th. He only had 45 minutes to hunt by the time he got off work and drove to our place. His first bow deer.  25 yards with a Matthews HeliM and a Rage 2 blade. Fell within sight of his stand,

Here is a picture of the only one I saw this season. Taken with my TC 209x50 during muzzleloader season Picture not to clear used truck headlights and a cell phone not the best combo :) Click on picture to make bigger.
