trapper walnut
« on: December 05, 2012, 12:27:08 PM »
I am wondering if anyone knows if the walnut stocks are available for purchace somewhere that came on this gun.  Ive seen a total of two guns come and go on gunbroker for stiff money in the last two years or so (I regret not bidding now- oh well).   Thanks

If you mean Topper, it's been discontinued and I believe someone checked with H&R to see if they had any, but they didn't, wouldn't hurt to call tho, (866)776-929 ask for Lisa Walters, the part number is listed on the retail parts page of our FAQs. Best place to find the walnut stocks is in the H&R Classifieds here.

Same thing, it was a Topper Trap gun, the entire Topper line was discontinued including the Trap gun, they had the only walnut stocks other than the BC.

While this may be an official Topper Trap gun, the stock is very similar to the one in the link below.  I'm waiting for another to become available myself.

quick,
I have an old NEF Handi that I purchased a while ago.  It's a NF prefix so it was built in 1991.  It came with walnut stocks.  The original owner said that the walnut stocks were the original stocks.  More importantly it's neither a Topper Trap gun, or BC.  Will post pictures when I get a chance.

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

The OP's question pertains to availability, my statement pertains to current production, H&R/NEF has made hundreds of different special order models that have stocks different from their cataloged items, there have been several that had walnut stocks on Whitetails Unlimited models also, and others that were never offered in their normal product lines, like these for example, lots of exceptions.  ;)
