"Quickstrip" on a .17HMR Sportster?

Just saw these little doo-dads. Pretty nifty. Do these just fasten to the side of your gun? If so, how to the .17HMR Sportster?
Or do these even fasten to the firearm? What is the sole purpose of these?

The one review indicates it works good for a revolver 2 chambers at a time, might work on a Sportster if you load the strip in every other spot with 5 rounds instead if filling it.

Seeing as how i'm not speedloading by anymeans with a break barrel, I don't think this is what I had in mind. I'm looking for something like this, but that holds .17HMR rounds instead of 12G...http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/7-1081157
Something that mounts to the side of the rifle that can hold my .17HMR's. Has anyone seen anything like this?
I don't want the traditional slide on soft stock shell holder, I like the look of having the rounds fastened to the side of the gun.

I have used them for my J frame for many, many years! Back then they where called a Bianchi Speed Strip and came in a little plastic box.

I am sure you could a fix them to your firearm if you so desired. But they are designed to be carried in the pocket.

I tried them in my sportster and they were a pia to use. Had better luck with the ammo loose in your pocket. Now my 38 Taurus they work great.

Not quite what you have in mind, but for consideration until you find what you want: Ive used a strip of belt weight leather with a hole punched at to top for a neck thong and a series of holes cartridge size down it. Just hang it around your neck and pluck a new round as needed. Price -0-  for me; if you dont have the leather, buy a $1 belt at Goodwill, use a shoestring, or whatever and short a leather punch, drill the holes.
