print logo  NH man charged after telling cops alleged prostitute owed him 10 more minutes  NH man charged after telling cops alleged prostitute owed him 10 more minutes NH man charged after telling cops alleged prostitute owed him 10 more minutes  by ABC News  WHAS11.com Posted on December 7, 2012 at 8:36 PM      (ABC News) – A New Hampshire man has been arrested and charged with engaging a prostitute after he phoned police to complain that the woman had shorted him 10 minutes of their prearranged session, officials say.

Scott Pipher, 34, was charged Nov. 14, police said this week. Investigators in Old Orchard Beach have been working on the case since Pipher placed the call March 25, and have also arrested the alleged prostitute, Sgt. Gerard Hamilton told ABC News.
“We did some follow ups … we have a team for special enforcement, and using the information  that was provided to us [by Pipher], we took a look, and were able to located the female via backpage.com,” Hamilton said of the classified ads website. “We were able to get to her.”

Krystal Harmon, 28,  of Old Orchard Beach was arrested after an investigation by the Department’s Special Enforcement Team and charged with engaging in prostitution. Pipher contacted Harmon through backpage.com, police said.
When Pipher initially called the police to report that Harmon had left early, Hamilton said, police worked up a report and handed the case over to investigators, who took eight months to charge him. He said Pipher is also being investigated for other possible incidents of engaging prostitutes.
“We’re now looking into Pipher, at some issues with some escorts down in New Hampshire,” Hamilton said.

Pipher is scheduled to be arraigned in the Biddeford, Maine, District Court Jan. 30. Harmon is scheduled for arraignment in Old Orchard Beach next week.
ABC News has been unable to find contact information for Harmon, and calls placed to numbers listed for Pipher have not been returned. Hamilton said he did not know whether they have attorneys.

Takes a genius to call and complain about illegal activity he is engaged in.

Perhaps if prostitution were legalized and regulated this wouldn't have happened. Might cut down on beatings drug usage and robberies. Then again it might not.

So did he figure it was her fault he was unable to keep going for the negotiated time?  Maybe she should have cuddled him for ten minutes.

  • Oh father of the four winds, fill my sails!
so much for the cops helping out citizens shortchanged by dishonest service providers.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Idiot , that's like those morons that call and report to the police that their drug pusher shorted or ripped them off . And the sad thing is stuff like this really does happen.
Had a guy once that traded an illegal stolen gun to a felon drug pusher for some drugs the pusher never delivered but he kept the gun. This idiot called the police to tell them the drug dealer had
stolen his gun and didn't bring him his dope. So he got to talk to ATF about this transaction also.

Timing a prostitue's services? I'm guessing he's single without a girl friend.

Now--I am NOT condoning this immoral business--butttt--it seems to me that this should be considered a fraud case at worse and probably a breech of contract and a civil case for an ambulance chaser. I would think that he could sue her and her pimp.
Might be some money in this case.
Blessings

Now that would be funny.  Sad thing is, he could probably find a lawyer to take the case.

Look at the prostitutes point of view from a business transaction. Perhaps the John didn't live up to
his claims about what he was able to do? So she just terminated the contract on the grounds that
she had been mislead and she should be sueing him !
Her local union would then need to get involved as this could tarnish their reputation for quality
services! I'm sure the John would not want this to go public, he could get black balled over this.
And If that happens in the future he may have to go visit rosy palm from now on!
No more outsourcing for that need, he would have to keep things in house after that.  ;)
If this woman preformed the services and did so under budget what is he complaining about ??

How's he going to prove he was going to LAST another ten minutes?  ;D

The really sad part is a jury of nitwits would probably side with the john and his crooked lawyer.

Anna: The Union arbitrator would simply argue that the ah...vendor completed the project ahead of schedule and within budget... He may even owe her a bonus.  ;)

I suspect that this John has been performing the task in house all along and this was his first experience with outsourcing.  :-[

Bingo!  That's not at all an out of line position.   I don't know if a cash bonus is in order, but he could have offered her a cup of coffee.  Doesn't seem unreasonable to offer up a fresh cup of Joe.
