New from the Guru!
« on: December 11, 2012, 09:16:49 PM »
That's right boys, the Guru is back, and this time he's stumbled upon the "mother lode."

This is timely in a way, because this model Hotchkiss is currently being considered as the possible design of a future build.

PS  Any finder's fees come to you know who. Ha, ha!

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!

You know, I've got a complaint against the Guru on this clip, at least he usually shows a cannon from many different perspectives, but on this one the camera is only positioned to record two static angles. Bad form Guru, bad form I say!

You forgot to mention he also says at one point that they "pulled the "line" (lanyard?) in the Civil War.

I think it's possible that the Guru might be giving the Junior Guru too much responsibility, too soon, although the special effects seen at the beginning of the video (switching positions) were nothing short of spectacular.
