I'm pretty partial to H414.
In the 1920's "sheeple" was a term coined by the National Socialist Party in Germany to describe people that would not vote for Hitler. In the 1930's they held Hitler as the only one that would bring pride back to Germany and bring the budget and economy back.....

I'm really partial to H-414 for most loads in the 243.

4064 is probably my most used 243 powder. It will work well for any bullet weight.

Same powder and amount but I use Nos 95 gr BT's and Nos 100 gr PT's.  Both are good for our VA deer.  The 100 gr Nos PT's are in my rifle when I hunt over in the mountains during deer season when black bear is in season also.

I have always had good results in using the suggested accuracy and hunting loads given in the 4th edition Sierra manual. For the 243 Win and the 85 gr HPBT they give the same load for accuracy and hunting. 37.3 grs IMR 4064.

Thanks for everyones input, sounds like IMR 4831 or H414 might be a good place to start.

I don't remember how I got started on it but H380 works well. 41gr behind an 87gr Vmax and 35 grs behind Sierra 100's work well. H322 is good also. 35 grs behind 58 gr Vmax is very nice. All with Rem. Mag rifle primers.           Turn your case necks.
