http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/12/18/gun-sales-surge-after-connecticut-massacre/This was predictable, so here we go again. From the looks of the criteria that's been assembled
in any upcoming ban. The M1A or any SA, M14 variant would be a very wise choise right now to buy.
It and the Garand are both are ergonomic and look like they may survive any ban with the exception
of a flash hider on the M1A. Like a flash hider matters, but the M1A would have to use only a
10 rd mag or start loading like the Garand. We know a guy here that has been loading up on mags
and reloading supply's for years, especially on primers after the Clinton thing in the 90s.
I own an AR, I use it prairie dog hunting on a ranch near here. Because of my size it is one of the
few rifles I can use with any degree of accuracy. I only use the 10 rd mags because I am shooting
from a prone position and any larger mag digs into the dirt. I own a few 30s, but the most I've ever
used them for is to shoot cans and other junk like that. And I do have a flash hider and a pistol
grip on my rifle. I can't see how these two accessories make that gun much different than my
Ruger 10/22 ! And my brother can fire his Winchester model 94 every bit as fast as I can fire a semi.
There is a a border patrol agent here that can cycle a bolt action so fast it sounds like a semi. And
he remaines accurate while doing that. The punk that caused all of this had to be wearing a coat
large enough to hide an AR under and that alone should have been a clue to what he was carrying.
Along with his ammo, extra mags, and those pistols he had to look a bit lumpy. There is still
something very fishy about this whole deal, were not the people in that school trained to notice things like this before buzzing him in ? This is starting to look more like extreme stupidity was the
key factor to this disaster than anything havering to do with the weapons involved.
