New Rimfire ammo!

I have read on a couple other sites that Winchester has came out with a NEW! Rimfire round to be released on 1/1/13.  At first there was no info,but as it leeks through it is called .17Winchester Super Mag.
I read its 500 fps faster than any other 17 RF round and is available in 20gn/25gn Hp/Vmax and 3 different Manufacturers are making actions for it. don't know more then that right now.
I wonder if Remington will make a Sportster barrel in that caliber??

Don't count on a Sportster anytime soon, only one mfr had signed up for it so far, maybe two more expected by the end of 2013.

Thats what I was thinking...You cant ever get an after market .22 mag bull barrel from them anymore...Thanks!
