Encore Synthetic Stock
« on: February 13, 2004, 04:43:01 PM »
Has anyone use the TC black synthetic stock and forend? I hunt my Encore hard and am beating the wood stock up. I don't want to be thinking about the stock while I am hunting. And I don't want to spend 500.oo on a stock set.

Yes, TC's black synthetics are the only way to go IMHO.  I paint them camo if I want camo.  They are nearly indestructable and lighter than the wood stocks as well.  I know they have been offered in various factory camo patterns through the years but I can't bring myself to pay the $20 to $30 premium for a camo pattern that will be discontinued in a year or two anyway.  By doing my own camo my stuff all looks the same regardless of when I purchased it.  I guess I'm just a cheapskate.
