bill introduced to California state legislature
« on: December 22, 2012, 07:12:43 AM »
to issue permits for purchasing ammo...but...if i read it right...it proposes selling ammo ONLY to those who carry loaded firearms in the course of their employment.

it's SB 53 submitted by DeLeon and Yee.

it looks like an open attempt to halt gun usage by anyone but LE.
don't squat while wearing your spurs...will rogers

That is called defacto gun banning and it isn't the first time it has been tried and it won't be the last time.  I wouldn't be surprised if it passes in California and I'm pretty sure Moonbeam would sign it.  Hussein would probably allow California law to supersede the U.S. Constitution in the same way that he has decided that states that legalize pot will not be bothered by federal law.

Where in the Constitution does it say the Federal government can decide what vices are legal? If this is based on health issues then there would be no tobacco or alcohol. California so what! If those fools won't stand up for themselves let em swim for it.

This Californian stands up for himself every election..I am simply outnumbered here. With luck, I will finish my career in another state in a few years. But, as is often said, as Cali goes, so goes the nation. Take it as warning of what could be. :-\
