327 revolver?

I am looking for a revolver in .327 federal for my daughter.  Has everyone stopped making these? am i too late? have i missed the boat again?

Ruger shows one in their catalog, but you never know when they are going to make a run.  If you can find a revolver in 32 H&R you can have the chambers reamed to .327 Fed Mag.  That's what I did to my S&W Model 16.  Ammo is pretty high price. Be sure and have a reputable gunsmith to check it.

searching online i only found one modern S&W for sale. way too much. cant find anything in the local gun shops or sportsmans warehouse. i am going to search further out. maybe start calling around to see if maybe a shop has a used sp101 or gp100. the gp seems like it might be too big. i know she can shoot 38s in the 357. but if she can get 6 327s instead of 5 38s that is way i want to go. plus i feel a little better with the extra penetration of the 327 over the 38. saw a coulple of ruger single six chambered in 32 h&r mag. those are cool but looking for a double action hd gun.

Williamlayton, how you enjoying your .327?  My Model 16 has a 4" bbl.  Very nicely balanced and it is an excellent backup for walking in the woods.  Walked up on a feral pig several months ago while walking down to a creek to fly fish for some redbreast. One shot just below the ear and I put that sucker down.  Heard some more hogs close by so I back tracked to my truck.  No fishing that day.
Have you noticed the proportional increase in the number of wild or feral hogs to the increase in the number of illegal aliens? Gotta be a connection somewhere.

A friend just bought himself a GP100 in .327 after buying his wife a SP101 in the same. The GP had a real good feel to it although it was the first one I've handled. I shoot a SP101 some but still prefer my pet jframe 5shot .38 Special. I don't know if it's a fluke or the 327 is becoming more common, but I noticed a local farm store stocks a couple of variations of 327 and 32 H and R mag ammo. It's a fun caliber to shoot-32 Longs are like a popgun, H and R mags are very comfortable, and the 327s are LOUD!

cuda, don't know how motivated you are for a 327 for the daughter, but I've a Taurus in 327 for short $ if you're interested. I also have a GP-100 that I'm attached to - it's a nice middlin' cartridge, and I'm watching for a T/C barrel that can become a 327 Federal...
