Who sent me the 45 caliber bullets?
« on: December 27, 2012, 06:32:49 AM »
Some time ago a member sent me some different 45 caliber bullets to try in my old Huntsman.  I got them but forget who sent them to me!   :-[   I hate being senile...  :'(

Maybe you sent them to yourself?  ::)

Well, thanks Kurt!   :-[  I got 'em, they're sitting on my BP box and I have enough for a whole day of shooting!   ;D  Once I ever get to go to the range that is...  :-\

But I really appreciate it.  I haven't bought a mould for the 45 yet so I'm anxious to see how they all do compared to the RB.   :)

I'm gonna post to the thread you resurrected also.

OH! and Tom!  "Dang CRS" really takes on meaning at our age doesn't it?   :'(

Hi Richard,

I have some .45 Minie bullets if you want to try them.  They are from a Lyman mold I bought probably in 1968 or '69.  I'd have to dig out the mold to give you the number and I'm too lazy to do that right now.  If you want me to send them to you to try, and they work out well, we can worry about numbers and such.

Where'd it go?  I found mine in the gutter once!  Do you think you ever find your's again?   ???  Wait, if you could find it, it wouldn't be lost!  But if you do find it you need to put it where you don't forget where...  ??? where...  :-\   What was that you lost?   :-[

Hey Kees!  Thanks but I don't want you to go to any trouble.  Right now anyway.   ;)  I've got bullets on topa bullets to try for my two new BP calibers (45 & 58).  Heck I really don't know what I got anymore!   ::)  I think I'll just take all my BP rifle stuff to the range and sort it out!   ;D As soon as the weather turns passable that is!

   'course I also remember that steamy rendazvous with Veronica Lake...  ::)   Wait!  Who's Veronica Lake!?  ???

Awww, now you've done it.  I'll spend the rest of my work day researching Veronica Lake.  THAT was one hottie that made me realize the truly wonderful reasons that God made me a man.   Course back in the day, I would dream of Veronica Lake and realize that there was a reason I was dreaming of her, but not knowing exactly WHY I was dreaming of Veronica Lake.  (I was too young.)

{Sigh.}
