Gunnut
I ran out of elevation. I used the little plastic post that they send with it to verify that the front sight height included was right and it was (the post is used to determine what height front sight you need, if the one included is not correct they will send you the correct one as long as you do not install it). It worked fine until I switched to a different load that I liked better which required that the sight be adjusted (can't remember inches of adjustment needed, but it was not a great amount). Anyway, I ran out of sight adjustment. The front sight needed to go lower, which I could have filed off but chose not to. I am not big on things that do not have enough adjustment without modifying (what if I wanted to switch back to the other load). The other thing I did not think was good quality was the front sight was made out of aluminum. They send you a plastic dowel to insert the sight with. I sanded until the front sight went halfway in the dovetail, but the plastic dowel had too much give to drive the sight in. I then used a brass bar, sight went in nice and easy, but put a ding in the aluminum.
I then put a Williams firesight set on the gun. I like it much better. Good adjustment up and down, plus you can loosen the rear sight in the dovetail with an allen wrench to get your windage. No more hammer and brass rod to adjust the windage.
Just my thoughts. Like I said before, I shot good with the ghost ring I just did not like the other downfalls.
