"BERNIE"
« on: December 29, 2012, 03:39:14 AM »
Has anyone seen this movie. It is a true story. They use actual townspeople for part of the cast. Funny, beyound words.
It is the only trial a DA ever had moved to another town because he cound't get a jury from Carthage, Tx to convict the murderer.

Never heard of it.  Is it in theaters, or what?

Hello Uncle Bill!   Wasn't that the Case where the funeral director courted the rich widow, then later shot her and went on a spending spree? I saw it on a TV crime show. I helped moved drilling rigs up in the Carthage area back in the late '70s.

I didn't know it was on a crime show but it sure sounds the same.
Everybody loved Bernie.
It was not like he was a bad guy----she was just plain mean.

I watched it about a month ago. Entertaining.
