“Since the Second Lebanon War, we have developed a new technique called TCT; Time Critical Targets, targets that have a very short lifespan, 'Major G' said. "We (drones) find them, gather enough intelligence to confirm that this is actually a terrorist, then call for another aircraft to perform the attack.”
 
The Jabari case was one example of the TCT policy, and ‘Major G’ gave a very rare insight into another. “As another example from the latest Pillar of Defense operation in Gaza, we had intelligence that told us that Hamas terrorists were about to launch missiles. We scanned the area and then saw two people running away right after the launch. A basement (trap) door had closed behind them and nothing was left to be seen (of the missile launch site). This was very complicated because I didn’t know if the people running away actually performed the launch, so we turned immediately to other people who were able to check this out with verified intelligence to confirm that these were indeed the suspects. We called the helicopter and he performed the attack. All this process took less than a minute.”
Looking back on the Gaza conflict, ‘Major G’ summed up his view of how his drone unit and the IDF as a whole had performed.
 
“We managed to achieve all of our objectives,” he said.  Nevertheless, there are always things that we can learn...and do better the next time. Our former Chief-of-Staff, Gabi Askenazi, said, “The military can be for two things; either preparing for a war, or being at war. We are prepared for every kind of scenario.”

OK, innocents?  We are making and killing more innocents (half under age 16)  for every 'so-called' terrorist we kill???   
 
Can any of you please explain the difference to me between a vietcong, a woman who willingly supported the vietcong with food, bed, sex, shelter, a 15 y/o or a 14 y/o who willingly loaded his magazines or carried his rockets for him; the al queda and their supporters, the taliban and their supporters or hamas and their supporters, and the 'innocent'.
 
Didn't think so.  As for collateral damage - who calls it collateral damage?  Liberals, pacifists, the terrorists themselves, their followers, who?  How about the same scum who continue to foster terrorism on a false religious basis, or a tribal basis, and get tired of both us and Isreal taking them out.  I am absolutely certain that the palestinan police (??) who investigate the hole in the ground that used to be a house, from the basement of which a rocket was launched into a marketplace in Isreal, are/were absolutely clear that anyone who wasn't carrying a gun is a 'innocent' or truly collateral.  Sort of like in the movie "The Kingdom" maybe....
 
I seem to remember that every single time the north vietnamese came to the peace table it was because we had seriously kicked their asses and every single time they came to the peace table it was nothing more than a stalling tactic and the stupid pacifists in this country fell for it hook, line and sinker.  And the same damn thing is happening now - "Oh please stop killing the innocent civilians, the women and children, they are victims too" - right, let's stop killing them long enough for them to carry more rocket and rocket launcher parts into basement cellars and launch them against civilian targets in Isreal.  This stupid president we have has failed like so many us president have failed before - by failing to give the military what it needs to finish the damn job. 
 
Don't bet me any money on this because I will gladly get rich off your losses.  We listened to this crap in Afganistan and already the taliban are back to murdering, ooops pardon, executing cops - anyone get the picture yet.  And of course, let's not forget iraq, same religious crap - shiite vs sunni - anyone wanna bet when al sadr will raise his ugly bearded face again. 
 
Right, a nyu student and his report that we/Isreal use a double tap technique to eliminate the enemy and this constitutes a war crime.  Excuse me, but if you can see the moon, kiss it.  Prove to me, prove it, by your own eyewitness account that the first responders at the scene of a ddt - drone double tap- are indeed medical emergency personnel and not more of the terrorists who come to clean up weapons, missle parts and anything that cold possibly incriminate themselves as terrorists. 
 
Has anyone ever wondered why the vietcong body counts were so low, or why they never find dead taliban or al queda - ever heard of a meat hook, buddy - its what they use to haul away their dead so it cannot be proven that they died during a assault.  However, do not think for a moment, if you think for a moment, that they wouldn't leave the bodies of the women and children - the support troops as they call them - the 'innocent victims - that their political followers want us to believe they were.

Hmmmm, that sounds just like the same nonsense and false logic used by the academics and liberals to raise public opinion and enable gutless politicians to bring a losing end to the war in southeast asia. 
"Whatever NV strategy was, I seem to remember the USA pulling up tents and quickly vacating the region and leaving it to the NVA...pretty cool, huh!? "  Hmm, you must have worked for the state department in those days, or were a student at nyu.
 
What I find most interesting is that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.  Sadly maybe, you're doomed.
