Shooting that .45 Ruger Bisley yesterday...
« on: February 14, 2004, 07:14:43 AM »
Yesterday I rode through some National Forest near my home(graveled road) and since the rabbitt season closes today I knew that if I wanted to get some shooting in I'd better do it then,I parked the car and stuffed my pocket full of some Remington factory loads I needed to shoot away for the brass to reload.I was not as rusty as I thought I'd be,at 80 yards I kept the shots pretty close on a stick on the ground.Nowheres near Elmer Keith I thought, but I could definitely take my deer if it were the season. Now,to get those RCBS 45-270-SAA's and Unique loaded up....wish I had a progressive press! All in all, just a good time enjoying the day and a fine gun. :D
