And here it is.....C700 wax can be obtained from Burrico(1-800-861-6861-extension #430 or 411   use the C700 wax in 5% of mix.The next ingredient is Alox #350(Baker Petrolite,1-281-276-5400),use this in 45% of the mix-of course use 50% beeswax as well.Formula is simple,just aggrevating to fool with buying the C700 wax and not needing so much. :grin:

I just coated some maxie-balls with alox. When the weather warms up some, I'll see how they shoot. It sure would be interesting to be able to make this type of lube.....

One recipe that came up on the yahoo groups CB-L group was a replacement for the Alox 2138F using Alox 350. The new recipe used 5% C700 wax added to Alox 350 to duplicate the 2138F.
Of course you then have to mix the resulting 350/C700 combo with bees wax at 50/50. The back ground and the source of the recipe is at the Yahoo group CB-L. If you can get there contact me and I will help.
